Clothes shopping...........

Hey all.............

We will be in California for two weeks 26 Sept to the 11 October - incl 9 nights in Anaheim.

Will we be able to buy summer clothes and shoes in the shops at that time? When do the shops start stocking winter clothes?

Clothes shopping...........

The stores begin to receive fall/winter clothes in late August/early September. I know it%26#39;s kind of weird given that we basically have summer weather through mid October most years. One reason I think this is done is to get people thinking in terms of buying for Christmas. The stores begin clearance on summer items in late August and some stores have a lot of summer stock to clear out, so there is a possibility that what you will see in the stores is new fall clothes along side racks of clearance summer clothes. Clearance items are usually great buys, but you have to really look through the racks for something appealing. I always notice lots of capri pants marked down in price each year, though.
