Best Day for Disney?

My fiance and I are doing the West Coast for our honeymoon in September and will be staying in Laguna Beach for 3 days and plan on visiting Disney on one of those days and we aren%26#39;t sure of what day is best? We are there for Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th. Also having looked at passes/fastpasses and tickets we are a bit confused. Should we get fastpasses for everything or just chance the queues? How busy is the park at this time?

Thanks for your help.

Best Day for Disney?

Either Friday or Sunday, Saturday is always busy at Disneyland. Going at the end of September, you will miss the summer crowd, a nice time to visit. I prefer going on a Sunday, seems less crowded. Get there early, and get all the fastpasses you can, never chance a queue. You want to collect the fastpasses in the morning and use them in the afternoon/evening when the parks get busier. Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Indy, and Splash Mountain in Disneyland are usually the busiest. Soarin%26#39;, Tower of Terror, Grizzly River Rapids, and Screamin%26#39; are usually the busiest in California Adventure.

You can go here and learn about fastpasses.

Congrats and enjoy your trip.

Where are you staying in Laguna Beach? I would go with either a Fri. or Sun. as previously suggested, our past two visits have been on Mon. %26amp; Wed. in the Fall and Winter months and we have had great luck with minimal crowds. Enjoy Disneyland! :)

Well first off Congrats on being Married!

I would definatly say go to Disneyland on Friday. The par usually opens earlier and closes later which means that you will have lots of time to see it wall as well as the parades and fireworks.

As for the tickets I would get a one day park hopper. With this you can see both parks. Disneyland and Disney%26#39;s California Adventure. You cannot buy as fastpass.

Fastpass is a syestem where anyone who has paid park ticket can get a Fastpass. To get a fastpass you can go to any ride that has a fast pass kiosk. Not all rides have a fastpass only certain ones like the major E ticket atractions. So you go up to the kiosk and then place your ticket in the kiosk and out comes your fastpass and park ticket. On the fastpass wil be a time (ex. 7:00pm - 8:00 pm) So what you do is then is go have fun and then you come back to that ride at the listed time or any time after and ride the ride with little or no wait.

So basically Fastpass saves your spot in line.

The parks are not that busy during this time but being a friday or any weekend day many of the locals will enter the park in the evening or late afternoon.

Being in septemver you will be in the Disneyland resort for the Halloween Time Celebration. I am not sure if you celebrate Halloween in the UK but I know that Disneyland Paris has this celbration as well trying to promote the Holiday in Europe.

So basically the parks are all decorated with the Halloween theme. There are pumpkins all over Main Street and the entrance area. The Charcters are all in their costumes and there are special shows too.

There is also a special party in Disney%26#39;s California Adventure park... but only going one day I wouldnt push it.

Message me if you have any more questions.

Thanks for that! We haven%26#39;t decided on a place to stay in Laguna yet but are working on it.

We do celebrate Halloween here but not on the scale that you do so we are looking forward to that!
