coffee shops, douoghnuts and breakfasts in anaheim?

Hi all, my wife, 3y.o. daughter and I will be staying for 5 days in Anaheim. ( 3 days for Disney, 2 days for family visiting in Altadena)My questions are...where are the decent breakfast places around Anaheim? We%26#39;ll be staying at the Ramada Limited on South Harbor--not the greatest place, but we don%26#39;t intend to be in the motel that much. Also, coffee shops? and great doughnuts? A nice deli wouldn%26#39;t hurt either. Thanks for making this a great site.

I%26#39;ll let other answer your questions and say: ';Are you sure you don%26#39;t want to switch accommodations while you are visiting your family?'; Altadena is far away and the traffic to it is pretty unpleasant at most times. You;%26#39;re looking at AT LEAST 2 hours%26#39; commute (and it can be a lot more).

Have fun!

We have considered the awful aspect of traffic, but our primary purpose is DL. The family visiting will be all day things, so we will reluctantly put up with the terrible traffic...2 hours? Hmmm....lol, rethinking things.

Well if you are thinking of chaniging your Hotel, I would recomend the Candy Cane Inn. It is still in anaheim but it does have its own FREE Breakfast for hotel guests. I think it is either across the street from where you are orginally staying or on the same street. However the traffic thing may want you to choose a different place to stay.

You could try this though.

We have family that lives in Orange County (actually the same neighborhood where there is a reality tv show). I know its alot closer to Disneyland then Altandena but when we go to disneyland they always come down to where we are and visit. They even come into the parks with us which makes it even more fun! So make the suggestion to your family they may want to come out to disneyland and have some fun with you and your family.

Message me for any more questions.

PS. There is a little shopping center next door and across the street from the Candy Cane Inn that has a pizza place and a subway so this may be helpful.

Back to the original question... Mimi%26#39;s Cafe just across from DL park is good. Also we like to get breakfast at La Brea Bakery in Downtown Disney while we wait for the park to open.

I%26#39;ve heard good things about White Water Snacks at the Grand California Hotel for breakfast, we have only had lunch there, which was good.

Visit www.disneyland.com to get information restaurants etc at the parks.
