Is it safe to walk

Staying at Sheraton Park. Is it safe to do early morning walks around anaheim area.??? Am 46 year old male trying to keep the middle age bulge at bay.

Is it safe to walk

Anaheim is home to Disneyland and Disney%26#39;s California Adventure. Over 10 million men, women and children visit the park every year (that comes to about 30,000 people per day!!)

There%26#39;s not much of a chance that the city of Anaheim would put these people (which constitute the city%26#39;s livelihood) at risk.

Enjoy your walk and if you have any doubts about your personal safety, you can always re-confirm what I%26#39;ve said with your hotel%26#39;s personnel.

Enjoy.

Is it safe to walk

I am often in the area for business meetings at 8 am. I have seen lots of other people walking or jogging,(which I have always been in awe of, given the ginormous amount of walking you do in the theme parks!) Stay on the big streets, or go to a park with a training setup, like a parcourse, a track, etc. and you will be fine. I looked at the City of Anaheim site which contains contact info and might be helpful, too: http://www.anaheim.net/section.asp?id=141

I agree that, if you are going to Disneyland you will get plenty of walking in. You may want to may a point to visit the Tom Saywer%26#39;s Island/Pirate%26#39;s Lair for walking and exploring. And don%26#39;t forget you can work out your upper body by participating in rowing on one of Davy Crocket%26#39;s Explorer Canoes. Walking through Downtown Disney would be a fun workout. Take a walk inside Disney%26#39;s Grand Californian and climb the stairs to the second and third floor to enjoy the view. That%26#39;s s bit of a work out in itself.

Sheridian Park gotta a great Gym-i stay there earlier in the year.

Great to know, thanks mex
