I will be visiting the my step-son in Culver City, late July. Any ideas on a clean, not too pricey motel?
Clean motels, not too pricey
There are a lot of motels in Culver City. The only one I know anything about is Villa Brasil on Washington Blvd. It gets good reviews on Yelp.com and has easy access to the beach and the freeway. Although I%26#39;ve never been inside, they repainted the outside a couple of years ago and put in a very tasty restaurant (Cafe Brazil).
Otherwise, the Jolly Roger in Marina del Rey, also on Wahington Blvd. but closer to the beach, seems like a good location.
Good luck!
Clean motels, not too pricey
We need your help! How much is ';not too pricey'; to someone from Wetumpka, AL?
Southern California is a very expensive part of the U.S. so it%26#39;s helpful if you%26#39;d give us a price range that you%26#39;re comfortable with.
Second, Culver City, while not huge, is irregularly shaped with an ';arm'; of the city shooting west toward the ocean. Where in Culver City is your step son? If you don%26#39;t know the nearest major cross streets, tell us his zip code.
How far away are you willing to be? Will you have a car? Is he going to pick you up? Do you need to get around via public transit? If so, will you be visitng attractions in Los Angeles. If so, which ones? (there are many and they are very spread out).
