Restaurant near Golden Bough Playhouse

My husband and I got tickets for Saturday night for a play at the Golden Bough Playhouse at 7:30 pm. Can anyone recommend a casual restaurant with good food that we can go to near the playhouse?

Also, we want to have at least one romantic dinner on Thursday night. We%26#39;ll be staying in Monterey so anything in the area with good food, good atmosphere, reasonably priced would be great. Any recommendations for that?

I highly recommend Little Napoli on Dolores St. Varied menu, reasonable prices, excellent food.

There are a few places in Monterey that would be very nice: Massaro and Santos (Seafood, Meat, Italian) on the Coast Guard Pier. Every table has a harbor view. Montrio near downtown--elegant, very good food. You might also like Roy%26#39;s at Spanish Bay Resort in Pebble Beach. It costs around $9 to get into Pebble Beach, but the restaurant will validate and you%26#39;ll get that fee back. The views at Roy%26#39;s are outstanding and the food is very good.

We like the Duck Club and the Sardine Factory in Monterey for fine dining. If you go to Roy%26#39;s, try to go at sunset and listen to the bagpiper play. :)

That have, Nevadagirl. For the past two days, there has been no smoke smell. It%26#39;s been foggy in the morning, but the sun came out yesterday afternoon. Temps are still cool, in the low to mid-60s.
