Where%26#39;s the best hamburger?
Best Hamburger
Foreign Cinema serves a fantastic hamburger. They probably only serve it at lunch. IT%26#39;s NOT a hamburger place, it%26#39;s an upscale restaurant.

We%26#39;ve had this question before, so you might want to try searching the forum...
Burgermeister has a good solid burger. Not cheap, not expensive ($8.75 and up for a 1/2 pound, no fries), but Tuesday%26#39;s from 2-6PM, they have a buy one get one half off deal. (haven%26#39;t been to Carl St, only been to Westlake).
Zuni Cafe for a ';California'; burger. Zuni is an institution around here. Worth checking out. I haven%26#39;t been for a while, but they%26#39;re usually consistent.
Barney%26#39;s Gourmet Burgers. Lots of varieties and ';toppings.'; Cool patio in back.
Joe%26#39;s Cable Car. Is a legendary burger... a bit overrated IMO. $11 for a quarter pound? But it%26#39;s been on TV a lot and it%26#39;s a fun place.
Tower Burger or Bull%26#39;s Head. Hole in the wall places, off the beaten path (near my parents%26#39; house, so I go there when I visit the folks). Good Niman Ranch burger at great prices.
Of course In-N-Out for a fast food burger. Some people come to our state just for these. They%26#39;re ok, under $5 and fast. But nothing amazing. The key I think is the buttery buns.\
For an %26#39;old school, greasy burger joint%26#39; try Hamburger Haven on Clement.
Try this place out.
Mega Mouth Burgers %26amp; Beers (formerly Big Mouth Burgers)
3392 24th St
San Francisco, CA 94110
Phone: (415) 821-4821
Rated as one the best Burger joints in San Francisco.
Good luck on your burger hunt!
Best Hamburger on the West Coast is the fresh ground beef at Val%26#39;s Burger in Hayward. Unfortunately it%26#39;s about 40 minutes from the city at the best of times. But if you are in the East Bay not to be missed.
Huge baskets of hot fries %26amp; Malts so think you have to spoon em. Get The Mama burger a 1/2 # delight with all the trimmings.
