Getting to Sand Harbor

I am wondering how hard is it to get down to the beach at Sand Harbor. In all the pictures it looks lovely, but we have a 9 month old and wondering how far of a walk is it to the beach, incline going or coming, and parking ?

Getting to Sand Harbor

You drive down to Sand Harbor, pay the daily fee at the gate. No problem getting to the beach area from the lot. If you arrive at peak time, lot will be full, so you will have to park on the street above and walk down. Better to arrive early or later in afternoon as parking becomes available.

Getting to Sand Harbor

Sand Harbor is pretty flat compared ot other parts of the east side of the lake. No hiking down involved. There are different areas. The north side of the beach has boulders and boats come %26amp; go from the boat launch there. The other end has lots of safe areas for families.
