Are there any boat tours that are worth booking? We are going this weekend and thinking of doing this on Saturday if it is worth it.
Boat Tours
I liked the Woodwind trip as I really like to sail.

You can always take a paddle wheel trip out of Zephyr Cove or at the marina.

I think this boat looks like fun as I have seen it many times in Emerald bay and it gets closer to the shore than the big boatds.

Also on the north shore I have take the Sierra Cloud. It was great.

Boat Tours
Suzie or anyone else- have you been on the Safari Rose? I was invited (free) to watch the fireworks on July 3rd on this boat. I can%26#39;t go, but another time I may take them up on the offer.
Back to the original poster- I would recommend the BleuWave if you are at south shore. I enjoyed it so much, I went again. I thought it was much better than the big boats (Tahoe Queen or MS Dixie II)
Saturday will be a busy day. You better book soon.
We have enjoyed the Windward sunset cruise in the past, the MS Dixie II that leaves from Zephyr Cove was fun, it was a 2 hour scenic cruise around Emerald Bay. Have fun! :)
We did the Woodwind Sunset Cruise near Emerald Bay last Saturday. We couldn%26#39;t see much because of the smoke, but not Woodwinds fault. The captain wasn%26#39;t a very good sailer, and we just floated most of the trip. I grew up sailing, so I held my tongue because my friends said I would embarrass them, plus I didn%26#39;t want to embarrass the captain. They were good at serving drinks, but other than that it was just O.K. We thought if we couldn%26#39;t sail anywhere, or really see too much, than at least they could tell us about Tahoe a little, or at the very least turn up the music, which they wouldn%26#39;t do after it was requested. We had 1/2 price tickets, so we figured we broke even since drinks were included. Maybe Woodwind 2 is better out of Zepher Cove. Woodwind 2 is bigger. The best part of Woodwind is it leaves out of Camp Richardson and you can hang out at The Beacon before and after the cruise. I would do it again, but only if I had the whole boat with my own group.
