Getting from LAX at 10:30 PM in night to Anaheim

Hi,

We are a family of 4, 2 kids, arriving on July 16 night at about 10:30 PM at LAX from JFK. We wish to go straight to our hotel Fairfield Inn near DL in Anaheim. What is best and quickest way to go? we would have about 4 pieces of baggage.

Taxi? Van? Coach? Keeping in mind the late hours.

Our family rented a limo, Limo Land 1-714-381-5452. Call 24 hours in advance and let them know your pick-up point and destination. A fee is agreed upon in advance, whereas if you take a taxi, you are charged by the meter.

Our cost was $95 from LAX to the Disneyland resort. It took approximately 25 minutes to get to our hotel. The limo driver was waiting for us in the airport terminal,, helped us with our bags, and the trip was smooth. The convenience is totally worth it.

If you take a shuttle, you will be waiting for the bus. It stops at other terminals at the various stops. This alone is very time consuming, because once you hit the resort, the bus then stops at the various hotels that the riders need to be dropped off at.

Hi there, yes I agree the Limo service is the best way to get straight through to Anaheim from LAX. We visit Disney every year or two and always go by Limo from LAX. The Limo service we use can be booked online (cost is about $135 US). The company is called Execucar (they also have Execuvan). Give them your flight arrival details when you book online and the Limo driver will be waiting for you as you come through into the arrivals hall at LAX (He%26#39;ll have a plaque with your name on it ...just like the movies!)and he%26#39;ll take you stright to your car..usually a Lincoln Town Car, big trunk, can hold three suitcases plus hand luggage. So, Google %26#39;Execucar%26#39; and you should get their site ok..we%26#39;ve used this service and been very happy. You can also book the return trip from your hotel for the day you are flying out. By the way , we have stayed at the Fairfield Inn, nice hotel, close to the Main Entrance to Disney land, you can%26#39;t go wrong. Have a great trip! C3PD.

It depends on the level of luxury you are looking for. As stated above the ';shared vans'; and ';coach bus'; are time-consuming methods of transfer. You have the following options for a PRIVATE conveyance:

1. As stated, a limo. This is the most comfortable method and the driver will meet you adjacent to baggage claim. The fare is negotiated in advance. You%26#39;ll need to add a tip.

2. A taxi. With 4 of you with 4 pieces of luggage plus carry on luggage, you%26#39;ll probably need a minivan-sized taxi which are available from the taxi dispatcher outside of your terminal. The fare is based upon the meter and is calculated based upon distance and time. Since it is the evening, there will be little traffic so the ';time component'; that is calculated by the meter will be very little since the taxi will not be stuck in traffic.

The trip is about 35 miles. The meter will computer the fare as follows:

$2.65, initial charge for first 1/7th mile.

$2.45 for each remaining mile ($2.45 x 35 =$85.75)

$2.50 surcharge on all fare originating at LAX

$2 ';waiting time'; (when the taxi is standing at a red light)

Total (without tip) = $92.90

If you are able to secure a limo for $90 as the previous poster has, then, by all means do it.

3. PRIVATE Van from Prime Time Shuttle -- This is a van that is designed to hold up to 7 passengers and their luggage. The cost is $88. The van will pull up under the GREEEN overhead sign above the ';traffic islands'; in the roadway in front of you as you exit your terminal.

Good luck!
