So we are still planning our holiday, and the size of America is just really overwhelming, we plan on doing 6 weeks in the states and 6 weeks in Rome. Flying from Australia to the West Coast for a wedding, and then have about 5 and a half weeks to see as much as we can on the list is Disney Land, San francisco, New York, CedarPoint, and Boston

When are you coming? I hope you meant 6weeks in Italy not just Rome but that%26#39;s another forum.
I am not sure just what input you want as there is no actual question in your post.
You also don%26#39;t mention any scenic natural beauty on your wish list.Between San Francisco and Disneyland there is gorgeous coastline,Yosemite National Park etc.
These places are best visited by renting a car and driving.Disneyland is located about 1 1/2 hrs. south of the LA airport in the city of Anaheim.
THEN you could fly east OR drive east to the Grand Canyon (another natural wonder )and then fly.
I have not heard of Cedar Point so cannot comment on it.
NewYork City is easy to get around with no car and there are trains, planes, buses to Boston or the other way around and fly nonstop from NY to Rome. You have plenty of time to do all this and perhaps even more.

As mentioned, it sounds like you have still a lot of planning to do. Why will you spend six weeks in Italy (or, uh, Rome?)
San Francisco, New York, and Boston are the most interesting cities in the US, so I agree with your choices there. Disneyland is not for everyone, but if you are a big amusement park fan, then perhaps it is worth the trip all the way down to Anaheim.
Cedar Point seems like an odd choice of stops. Do you mean the all-wooden amusement park Cedar Point in the midwest? I have been there. It is definitely not worth the trip. You will have spent some time at Disneyland; you won%26#39;t be impressed by Cedar Point.
Please write again if you have any specific questions.
