Allright here are my final choices:

I am working with a great TA to plan our 5 day trip to DL!

She gave me some choices on hotels:

Ramada Inn Maingate

Jolly Roger (I%26#39;ve heard really iffy things about this one)

Motel 6 Maingate

Anaheim Maingate Hotel

Holiday Inn

and....

Candy Cane Inn!

You can tell which one I like! LOL!

With my AAA and company discount, I could afford CCI, but Ramada sounds great too. So what I%26#39;m asking is which one would you do? We%26#39;re going Sept. 28-Oct. 3 with a stay in Vegas through that following weekend. (On another assignment. I%26#39;m a travel writer).

Allright here are my final choices:

Just curious .. why just those hotels? Many other very nice places to stay including Carousel Inn, Hojo%26#39;s, BW Park Place etc....

Of this list, Candy Cane Inn.

Allright here are my final choices:

Ok so All of these are great chocies but for us hand downs is the Candy Cane Inn.

It may be more then the others but you get some really great things.

First you can walk. It is about a 7 min walk to the parks. And if you dont feel like walking the hotel offers its own provate shuttle. The shuttle is FREE to hotel guests and it runs every 15 mins. And let me tell you taking a shuttle back to the hotel after walking around all day is the best!

The second great thing here is the complimentry breakfast that they offer. It is the basic breakfast that most hotels offer but hey it does the job. It has bagles, toast, doughnuts, muffins, fruit, cereal, coffe, juice, and teas. It is really great! I forgot to mention that they have a danish type thing as well.

The rooms here are great. The are a little smaller then the avg. room in the area but like most people you are not going to be in it, you are going to be in the parks all day. Most rooms have 2 beds, but some have a king (I think). And the advertised premium room. I would stay away from that. It is just a normal room and tehy deliver the breakfast you want every day to your room and then they have ';spa'; quality tolitries. It is fine if you want to pay the extra money but I wouldnt.

Now for the dates you are going. You couldnt have picked a better time. It is the least bussiest time in my opinion and its the start of the Halloween Time celebration in the resort area.

The Halloween Time is a really fun time at the parks. The Haunted Mansion in disneyland is changed for the Holidays and the whole park is just decorated with halloween and fall. Now this year they may add a special Halloween Parad and or fireworks show but disney has not yeat confirmed this.

Like I said both parks really look like Halloween. There is a large pumpkin on Main street as well as pumpikns each carved differntly in all of the Main Street Windows. All of the Caharcters wear the Halloween costumes as well.

I hope I have helped and that you enjoy your disney vacation as well as las vegas. Message me if you have any more questions.

If those are my only choices, stay at Candy Cane. However, I sure don%26#39;t know why you would pay any attention to people who you don%26#39;t know, and you have no basis to judge their recommendations? Chuck...
