Hi,
after looking up most hotels on TA I still don麓t find what I麓m looking for.
We need an clean + quiet place (only little street noise and solid walls appreciated) with 2 separate beds+coffeemaker.
(We don麓t care much about internet connection, soap or shampoo or big breakfast.)
Has anybody found that sort of hotel in SFO lately ?
Thanks!
Silke
Hotel in San Francisco ?Hello silkbg. I have stayed at the Serrano Hotel in San Fran. Here is a link to my review as well as hotels website.
I think the hotel fits the bill for all your requests above and they had really great rates.

Hallo Silke---und willkommen im USA!
Last April I stayed at the Galleria Park, 2 blocks east of Union Square in the Financial District:

The hotel was very nice and I think the location is a bit better than some of the ones mentioned above---farther from the noise, crowds, and street people on the western side of Union Square. I felt very safe walking there alone, even in the evening.
They do have rooms with 2 beds, and all rooms have in-room coffee-makers. They also serve complimentary coffee and tea on the mezzanine each morning. And a complimentary glass of wine in the lobby each evening. They also have a private rooftip terrace where you can relax outdoors in the sunshine, if there is any!
The only drawback for you is that all the 2-bed rooms are on the street side. However, this street is in the Financial District, so it is much quieter in the evening than the Theater District area. I did not notice any street noise. The building is an older one but renovated, and the walls are thick and soundproof.
Another plus is that it is only 2 blocks%26#39; walk from the Montgomery Street BART station, which you can use to get to and from the airport (for $5.30 each way).

Enzian
Thank you all,
I麓m going to check these Hotels again.
It麓s the center of a big city, so we have to accept some noise ;-)
