cheapest way to get from LAX to Yorba Linda

Can someone pls help me find the cheapest transportation to get from LAX to Yorba Linda. Would it make sense to take the metro from LAX to YL and if so what is the station closest to Yorba Linda that i can get off at. I found that taking the airport shuttle costs me like $75/-.Its too expensive...i need alternate transportation here. Thanks.

Ok, this isn%26#39;t going to be a great route but it%26#39;s the best there is...

1. Take the UNION STATION FLYAWAY bus from in front of your terminal (under the GREEN overhead sign) over the ';traffic island'; in the roadway in front of you as you exit the terminal.

2. Get off at the bus plaza behind Union (train) station. This is the only stop the bus makes once it leaves the airport. The ride is 30 to 40 minutes. The fare is $4 which is paid as you exit the bus to a cashier who will provide change from large bills, if need be.

3. Walk into Union Station and take the next METROLINK (metrolinktrains.com) to the Fullerton Station (This station is on Metrolink%26#39;s %26#39;Orange County Line%26#39;. The ride is 34 minutes at a cost of $5 (weekends) or $6.75 (weekdays).

Of course, you can take the Supershuttle (or Prime Time Shuttle) from LAX to Fullerton (or nearby Anaheim) for about the same cost and in about the same time.

You don%26#39;t say where you are going in Yorba Linda, but I will assume a central intersection (Yorba Linda Blvd %26amp; Imperial Highway.

4. From Fullerton Station, walk to parking space #4 in the bus pickup area and get on the #026 east bound. 40 minutes later, get off at the above intersection. The fare is $1.25
