We are making some reservations for tastings, but we%26#39;d also just like to walk in to some of the wineries and perhaps buy a couple of bottles. Do most wineries have retail spaces that we can just walk into to browse? Or do you have to have a reservation just to enter?

Some places require advance reservations, many do not.

If you are staying locally, your innkeepers or concierge will be able to help you with all of this.

They%26#39;ll suggest small, boutique wineries for tastings, make advance reservations at wineries and restaurants for you, and give you tips and tricks for getting around the traffic.

All of these services are included in the price of your stay, so it%26#39;s a great idea to take advantage of them. :)

Thanks but are you saying that we can just walk-in to these wineries and browse their wines without a reservation?

I often stop in and pick up some wine without a reservation or a tour. I%26#39;ve never been turned away.

You can also check out some wine shops in downtown Napa. You have Bounty Hunter, Back Room Wines, and Oxbow Wine Merchant all within minutes of each other.

The link we gave you will tell you, easily, which places require reservations and which do not. There are even phone numbers/contact info if you need to call a place to check.

We saw you mention 3 downtown tasting rooms. Napa now has just shy of 20 tasting rooms, most within a 1/2 mile radius.
