I%26#39;m just starting to plan a trip for March or April. It will begin in Los Angeles, where we plan to attend a multi-day event at the end of March. We plan to rent a 19-foot campervan to visit the desert areas. We%26#39;ll probably have two weeks. We are very slow travelers in our 60s, like out of the way places and have rented campers before. We%26#39;re open to any suggestions, but to help me decide on a route I%26#39;d like to know how Joshua Tree National Park, Mojave National Preserve and Death Valley National Park differ. We%26#39;re very open to off-the-beaten path places I%26#39;ve yet to learn about.
Thanks!
How do Joshua Tree NP, Mojave NP and Death Valley NP differ?
There are three excellent websites that you can view to gain some insight. They are Joshua Tree National Park - http://www.nps.gov/jotr/. Mojave National Preserve - http://www.nps.gov/moja/ and Death Valley National Park - http://www.nps.gov/deva. All these areas are federally owned and managed by the Park Service. Hope you have a good trip.
