Going to ';project walk'; (physical fitness center for paralysed people) with my husband who%26#39;s in a wheelchair (hopefully not for long). The Center is on Loker Avenue in Carlsbad. I%26#39;m looking to book a room from May 3rd to May 18th, 2008. Looking for something nice and accessible, with accessible activit茅s close by. I don%26#39;t know the area at all and there are so many hotels to choose from, I would definetly appreciate some help.

Unfortunately, Loker is a small street in an industrial park. It is not really within non-driving distance of anything.

My advice is to stay close to the beach in downtown and drive to the center. The Beachview Terrace is nice.

May I suggest the Residence Inn Carlsbad for future stays. I live in the area, and know it is nice and clean. My family recently stayed there when they came to visit. Breakfast is even complimentary! It is very close to Project Walk on Loker Avenue.
