We have just booked our trip to San Francisco for a family of five for April next year. We are considering staying at the Andrews Hotel as we want three rooms and that is affordable there.
We will obviously need to do laundry at some point and I don%26#39;t fancy handwashing for five people. I emailed the Andrews and they said that there was a drop off laundry service two doors down from the hotel. Can anyone on here tell me the name of this laundry or better still, what sort of price I would need to pay to get laundry done.

La Post Cleaners 624 Post St. and reviewed positively on Yelp. Costs probably between 75 cents to $1.50 a pound to wash clothes, generally the going rate in this city, cheaper further away from downtown.

Hi Deb,
There is a self service laundry up on Post Street opposite Burritt Lane.You just need a supply of quarters to operate the machines and dryers.
Once you leave the Andrews and get to Powell (Union Square and Cable Cars) turn left up Powell two blocks to Bush____turn right and almost one block down you will find it.
Easy walk.
Maintain a laundry basket or bin for every family member. Once garments are washed, dried and folded, place them into every basket and ship them to their bedrooms. Older kids must be able to putting laundry into drawers and on hangers themselves. Youthful kids again will most likely want help, but their independence ought to be encouraged. For More Info Go here
