Anaheim convention center from LAX

Can anyone give me some info on the cost of taking a taxi from LAX to the Anaheim convention center, distance wise 34 miles could cost quite a bit so I%26#39;m not sure if I should just rent a car since I will be sightseeing as well. Help! :)

I have seen a taxi ride from LAX quoted in estimates of upwards of $100 one way, plus tip.

Consider using the Disneyland Express Shuttle available for a relatively small fee through Grayline Tours. It will take you to your Anaheim Resort or Garden Grove hotel. If you need to go directly to the convention center you could book to be dropped off at the nearest hotel (probably Marriott).

There is a Hertz Car Rental very close to the Convention Center, open 7 days, so is no need to rent a car at the airport order to go sightseeing from Anaheim. There are other car rental agencies within the Anaheim Resort area as well. Check on your hotel%26#39;s parking fees before considering a lenghty rental.

A taxi is usually over $100 plus tip, sometimes even $120 or more in heavy traffic (Wait charges).

My preferences from LAX to Anaheim...

1. Rental Car, freedom to go when and where you want, but check for parking charges at your hotel.

2. The Disneyland Express Airport Bus. http://graylineanaheim.com/airport_info.cfm The cheapest option, and well run.

3. Hired Car/Limo. About the same price as a taxi, but at a fixed price, if you have a decent to large sized group, it is the way to go if you don%26#39;t want to rent a car/van.

Thanks for the great feedback, I think I am going to rent a car instead I was able to find a rental through payless for $129 for 4 days which seems like a great deal!
