Kid friendly beach

Is Miramar beach a good place for kids to play in? I heard that it is great for surfing. Is there a particular beach that is better for kids? Thanks

Miramar Beach would be a good beach for kids - sandy, curved beach, small to no waves. Surf is infrequent. Parking lot is small. Only about 8 cars fit in the parking lot, then parking is on the street and the streets are narrow and not easy to park on.

Another favorite beach is Butterfly Beach in front of the Four Seasons Biltmore and north.

The beach by Stearns%26#39; Wharf is nice, you could walk out on the pier and have a meal at SB Shellfish Co. There are some fun tourist shops on the pier, also. Have fun in Santa Barbara! :)

Almost all beaches in SB are kid friendly. Miramar and Butterfly are by far the best choices/ Also Carpinteria State Beach was once voted ';America%26#39;s Safest Beach'; you could try there as well.
