Hi I have stayed in Santa Monica B4 %26amp; really liked it can anybody recommend anywhere similar to stay

What area to stay in

There is nothing similar to Santa Monica, maybe Manhatten Beach? What are you looking to do/experience while in L.A. ? That could help us to give you some advice. West Hollywood or Hollywood are more centrally located to touristy attractions and hip bars, restaurants and nightclubs but a good 30 to 40 minutes from the beach

Hollywood would probably your best bet if you are looking for hip bars, restaurants and clubs. Area is perfectly safe and lively.

The Sunset Strip in West Hollywood is also a great place with plenty of fun bars and Hotel Lounges.

Not sure what your budget is for a hotel so hard to give you some advice on that

thanks for your help we are looking for budget accom/ hostel as we want to spend our money on other things, we can get out %26amp; about in the day but as I said we want to be near bars/restaurants at night is there anything you can recommend on sunset strip , we have stayed in hollywood blvd before just for a couple of night%26#39;s .

p s we are in our 40%26#39;s but like night life ha ha ha

The Motel 6 on whitley ave in Hollywood is walking distance to a lot of bars and fun restaurants, i think there rate is $70. It is nothing fancy, but a clean, safe place located in a central location

BYE THe way th reson for budget is because we going on a round the world trip we have back packed when we were young %26amp; cant get it out of our heads. we are only working class but seeing the world is our thing
