My parents in their sixties have 4 nights in Santa Monica, how feasible is it for them to go into LA to see the sights like the Chinese Theater and Beverley Hills, is there organised trips?
Any recommedations for Santa Monica itself? Mum likes to shop, her partner likes a beer and some sport!! And can you recommend a reasonable place to eat with great seafood?? As they maybe abit homesick by then (I dont know why!!) is the Kings Head worth a visit. I remember going myself 15 years ago, I dont know what its like now.
Thanks in advance!!
parents - any must sees?
THe kings head is always a good choice for a ';pint %26#39;o lager, mate'; There are two major tour companies: Starline %26amp; Grayline:

grayline.com/Grayline/鈥?/a>
There are a number of shopping areas in the Santa Monica/Venice area (the hotel can help direct them or there are online maps available):
1. Third Street Promenade -- outdoor %26#39;pedestrian plaza%26#39; with lots of shops -- mostly %26#39;chain stores%26#39;.
2. Montana Av -- boutique shopping
3. Abbot Kinney -- boutique shopping
For seafood, consider the Lobster.

I agree, the King%26#39;s Head would be a great place for your parents to hang out and kick back, while in Santa Monica.
Lobster is an excellent place for seafood, and we also like Ocean Avenue Seafood.
