Hi everyone, I have a question about parking logistics for a day visit (Wednesday) in San Francisco before we head out to Napa Valley. We will be arriving about 10:00 a.m. and have a rental car - we want to go to China Town - House of Nan King for lunch and then hang out down along Pier 39 and over to Ghirradelli with dinner at Cioppinos. Can anyone tell me if we can find a parking garage near House of Nan King in China Town? and then will we be able to move our car closer to Cioppinos and leave it there for the afternoon through dinner?
Thanks for any suggestions
Jill

Trust me. You do not want to drive in Chinatown.
Help with Parking question
So, could we park near Pier 39 or Cioppinos and take the trolley or street cars to Chinatown?
The Portsmouth Square parking garage, run by the city, is affordable and convenient for House of Nanking (though that is the last restaurant I would recommend).
The garage entrance is on the left side of Kearny Street, between Sacramento and Washington streets.
Here%26#39;s the website listing their daily rates:

Thanks! I know what you mean about House of Nan King, we love it but I understand you either love it or hate it :)
