Apple Pie French Toast help needed quickly!

I am staying at the Dream Inn right now (I%26#39;ll post a review when we check out tomorrow), and my husband wants to try a place that supposedly has Apple Pie French Toast. He claims a co-worker raves about it and he really wants to try it. It%26#39;s our anniversary, so I%26#39;m willing to indulge him. However, he doesn%26#39;t know where it is, or what the name of the place is. I%26#39;m hoping I can save the day by checking with some travel savvy Tripadvisor folks. We leave tomorrow morning, so any info asap would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps your DH heard about Southern Kitchen in nearby Los Gatos. Super famous place, very hard to get a table but known for its various French Toasts including apple cinnamon.

Thank you for your fast reply! I asked my DH and he says he isn%26#39;t sure that tht%26#39;s the one, but then again, it could be. See what I have to deal with?:) He says he doesn%26#39;t want to drive to LG just for b%26#39;fast, so I guess we%26#39;ll just keep ordering room service. We had the Bananas Foster pancakes and Huevos Rancheros this morning, with pretty good results.

Poolside or in room? We ate poolside but I can%26#39;t remember what!

Southern Kitchen is only about 30 minutes from the Dream Inn but you%26#39;re right, perhaps that%26#39;s too far for breakfast! ;)

We ate one breakfast on this last trip and also on previous trips at Santa Cruz Diner. The staff is very nice, food is fast %26amp; fresh:

The only place I can think of which might offer this is a small place called The Buttery, on the corner of Soquel Avenue and South Branciforte Drive, across from Shopper%26#39;s Corner.

This is a kind of %26#39;precious%26#39; place and if they don%26#39;t have ';apple pie French toast'; they will have something to delight him.

Santa Cruz Diner is about two cuts above Denny%26#39;s. There food is good and fresh and the service (usually) is OK, but I do not think it is the kind of place that would have Apple Pie French Toast.....????

Oh sorry I wasn%26#39;t trying to suggest that Sanra Cruz Diner would have anything exotic like apple pie french toast just saying it was breakfast.
