Any suggestions for a 2-3 day tour?

Bike tours
This summer one of our local West Sonoma County papers ran a 3-issue series entitled ';Vacation At Home (Two Wheel Tours)';. Altho%26#39; it was written from a motorcyclist%26#39;s perspective, the tours described could easily be adapted for cyclists. Here%26#39;s the link to the Part #3 of the series: www.westcountygazette.com and you can also click on ';Past Editions'; (left hand margin) and then go to ';Top Stories'; which will link you to articles #1 and #2.
Also here again is the info. on shorter cycling routes that I%26#39;ve posted previously on the Forum: For possible cycling routes and links to tours in Sonoma County, take a look at:

Look at www.bikeparts.com/trails/napa.html which inc%26#39;s info. on coastal and Western Sonoma Co. The Coleman Valley route is just gorgeous and traffic is light. But if you go all the way to the coast, coming back the same way (STEEP hill) can really get your heart (and everything else) pumping. The site also provides info. on doing the 30 mi. loop thru the Napa Valley that inc%26#39;s Hwy. 29 %26amp; the Silverado Trail.
Yet another great cycling route in Sonoma Co. is thru the Alexander Valley via Alexander Valley Rd. out of Healdsburg and then either no. or so. on Hwy. 128. Be sure and stop at the fun, kitschy Jimtown Store where you can get something delicious to eat and drink and just relax in a setting that%26#39;s filled with vintage artifacts--almost like being in a little museum! Chalk Hill Rd. going so. from Hwy. 128 is also a very pretty cycling route.
A loop route with great scenery, inc. a number of wineries would be Westside Rd. out of Healdsburg, onto W. Dry Creek Rd. which will take you no. thru the picturesque Dry Creek Valley. At Lambert Bridge Rd. you head east and hook up with Dry Creek Rd. You can stop at the Dry Creek General Store and get something to eat and drink. From there you go south on Dry Creek and then east onto Lytton Springs Rd. where you%26#39;ll ride uphill for a bit; then right (so.) on Chiquita Rd. Finally, make a right on Grove St. which will take you back to downtown Healdsburg. It%26#39;s a very popular cycling route; under 20 mi. r/t.
