We are coming into town at the end of Oct. We have a almost 4 yr. old.
Day 1 - need to plan on being in LaJolla at end of day for sightseeing and dinner. We want to do tidepooling and with sunset and lowtide I think this is our only day. Is there enough to do there all day or should we plan something else in the morning?
Day 2 - Zoo/Balboa Park, will figure out a different area for dinner
Day 3 - SeaWorld, will figure out a differnt area for dinner
Day 4 - They guys in the group want to see the USS Midway, I am not sure about the 4 yr. old so we may find something different to do. Then I was thinking of taking a boat over to Coronado to take a look there.
How does all this sound, what about day1?
TIA
Itinerary Help
i recently visited SD, and i can tell you, do NOT bring the 4 yr old to the Midway. it%26#39;s not easy to manuver thru for kids. it took us( 2 healthy adults) about 2.5 hours to get thru it.
But good luck with the other plans.

As an alternative, take the 1 or 2 hour Harbor Tour by boat www.sdhe.com/san-diego-harbor-tours.html
For a 4 year old I would do about half those things, relax and enjoy. My memories at 4 are of happy family togetherness rather than hitting all the top attractions. Anyway, you asked and I decided to share my opinion. Hope that is ok.
