We are coming over from Scotland for a road trip from 22 Dec to 7 Jan. We arrive in LA on 22nd. Haven%26#39;t booked anywhere to stay on Christmas Day yet but we have booked into a lodge at the Grand Canyon for 26%26amp;27 December. Does anyone have any suggestions of somewhere good to stay for Christmas within one day%26#39;s driving (or less) of the Grand Canyon? It%26#39;s just the two of us so don%26#39;t need anything special for kids etc.

You could consider Laughlin, Nevada which is more or less on the way from Los Angeles to Grand Canyon.

you could go a different way through las vegas

about a 4 hour drive, and from there to grand canyon ,about a 5 hour drive.

it only adds a few hours at best to your trip.
