Disneyland to offer fredd admission on your Birthday in 2009

As part of the new ';What will you Celebrate?'; marketing plan that was just announced today, Disneyland (and WDW) will offer guests a free one day ticket on their bithday (there are alternate gifts for Annual Passholders and guests visiting on a vacation package that includes multi-day tickets).

Go to www.disneyparks.com/celebrate to register and get more information.

Also Disneyland will be getting a new parade called ';Celebrate Today!'; in spring of 2009.

Well, this is wonderful - since my birthday is in the spring I get to see a new parade and do it all for free! Downside is I love the Parade of Dreams. So I guess that means that before spring I will need to pay to get into DL and see it again to bid it farewell.

Actually, the new parade event is an Addition, and Parade of Dreams will remain.

The ';Celebrate Today!'; event is going to be similar to Block Party Bash, where the event doesn%26#39;t move, and will be on Main Street based on what I have learned (Of course, everything at Disney is always subject to change).

To be able to be eligilble for free admission on your birthday, you need to be a US or Canadian citizen That rules me out as I am Australian!!

As I understand it, you are eligible for the free admission, you just can%26#39;t pre-register online.

From the Disney website...

%26gt;%26gt;Q: Do I have to be a resident of a particular state in order to be eligible for this offer?

A: No. The offer is valid for all Guests, regardless of the place of residency. %26lt;%26lt;

Too bad my birthday is in the middle of Spring Break!! LOL!

Maybe we will try to go anyway!

Have fun everyone planning trips to DL!
