Good upscale restaurants in South Lake Tahoe area???

My absolute favorite for the last 12 years has been Evans American Gourmet. www.evanstahoe.com They use fresh local ingredients and the food, service and presentation are fabulous. They always have a long list of specials in addition othe regular menu.

For a really romantic dinner I like Cafe Fiore which has 7 tables inside. The food is fantastic. www.cafefiore.com

You%26#39;ll need reservations for both.

We celebrated my birthday at Evan%26#39;s Gourmet Cafe in South Lake Tahoe, it was excellent, I have a review of our time there. Cafe Fiore and Harvey%26#39;s 19 Kitchen were also very good. You will have gorgeous views at Harvey%26#39;s 19 Kitchen, this is a nice place to dress up when going out to dinner in SLT. Have fun! :)

The Sage Room(Harvey%26#39;s Casino) and Fridays Station (Harrah%26#39;s Casino) are both amazing steak and seafood places. Fridays is on the 18th floor of Harrahs so you get an amazing view as well. Nephele%26#39;s is another great place-California Cuisine-they combine top quality food and service in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. By the way, you can%26#39;t go wrong with Cafe Fiore or Evans-they are both wonderful!

kitchen 19 at top of harveys is very good and i really like chart house up kingsbury grade. i know it%26#39;s a chain but it%26#39;s always been good and a beautiful view

I guess Harveys 19 is like the Sumitt at Harrahs. I love the view, especially at sunset.

Also, Suzie (or others). A few years ago we ate at a charming restaurant in a little strip center on the left on or toward the Kingsberry Grade. It seems like the outside or inside was pink. Don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s still there or not.

We are renting a house at tahoe Keys. Can%26#39;t believe how reasonable the rates are, but it%26#39;s in Sept and summer is over.

Thanks, Kent

La Petit Pier. I know this isn%26#39;t in S. Lake but it is good.

I thought Le Petit Pier closed in 2006. Did it reopen? I know it was closed in 2007.

I think the restaurant I was trying to remember on Kingsbury Grade is Mirabele--- a French restaurant @ 290 Kingsbury Grade,

Kent

I didn%26#39;t know it closed in 2006. We visited in 2007 but didn%26#39;t eat there so it could be closed. I%26#39;ve heard Le Bistro is good in Incline Village.
