lodging in tahoe city?

We are 3 students (girls) from Perú and we re going to work in Lake Tahoe from December 6 until March 25 aprox. We%26#39;d like to find something cheap but comfortable in Tahoe City.. no more than 1500 per month (utilities included). We are 19, clean, friendly, responsible, organized and don%26#39;t plan on being indoors much while we are there. Just looking for someone who could rent us a house or an apt.., or we would appreciate if someone could offer us a youth hostel or cheap housing at hand .
