will be driving thru Sacramento from south to Colusa this Fri.(27) is I-5 closed? as 3 weeks ago and a good hotel not expensive to sleep before early 6:00am on Saturday, thanks for your help. Danny

Both directions of I-5 will be opened thru the 4th of July weekend. For hotels in the area do a search on Sacramento hotels on this web site.

I had a great stay at the Four Points Sheraton in North Natomas (Sacramento, north of downtown) earlier this year (see review). There are plenty of other hotels in the vicinity around Arco Arena in North Natomas. I have also stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn which was also quite nice.
