Honeymoon hotel

My future hubby and I are looking for a honeymoon hotel in Laguna for 4 nights. we are driving from SF to Laguna and are looking for something romantic but not over priced. Our budget is approx $350 a night and we would have a car but would like to be walkable to town for dinners etc.

What is the most romantic restaurant for us to eat in one night?

We are coming end of September.

If walkable is the most important criteria then the Surf and Sand or the Inn at Laguna are probably the two best choices.

Laguna Beach is quite compact so if you would like more choices which are just a few minutes away then have a look at Montage Resort,Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel,St REgis Monarch Beach.

Romantic restaurants would include: Splashes at the Surf and Sand,Studio at the Montage,REstaurant 162 at the Ritz Carlton.

There are many more restaurants so I will let others suggest. For me, anything on the ocean is romantic.

The rates for the Montage are over $450/night. I would recommend The Studio for your romantic meal, we celebrated our 25th anniversary there. This past Dec. we stayed at the Casa Laguna Inn for 3 nights, it was wonderful but across the street from the ocean. Many nice amenities here, very quaint property and personal service. Amazing breakfasts here, also. Check out my review! :)
